Bike to the Beach offers multiple ride distances for our Bike to to the Beach New York our Charity event.
In addition to our traditional 100-mile ride, Bike to the Beach also offers a Metric Century ride. This 56+ mile ride option is designed to be fun, inspiring, and an excellent option for riders looking for an alternative to the 100 mile ride. Starting from Wantagh, NY, you will join the Century riders, cruise along the country-roads and shores of Long Island, and finish oceanfront in Westhampton Beach, NY. All of our rides are fully supported and designed to be fun, inspiring and achievable for riders at all biking levels. Bike mechanics and chase cars follow the entire route. Rest-stops are placed every 15 miles with refreshments, hydration, medical aid and cheers and high-fives from our volunteer community ensuring you see the sand and beautiful beach.
The Metric Century Ride starts in Wantagh, NY on Long Island, joining with our B2B NY Century Riders at Rest Stop #3 the World Gym. The route is primarily on bike paths, through small towns, a golf course and neighborhoods ending on Dune Road in Westhampton Beach, NY.

Get familiar with the route in advance, we also provide route cue-cards at each rest stop and mark the route with Bike to the Beach turn signs. There will be multiple SAG cars along the route offering medical, mechanical support, and directional support as needed.
