New York 2020 Ride Update
Virtual or Outdoor Event: Make Your Choice
This year’s event will be a ride like no other. We have defined new safety protocols and worked through ways to maximize social distancing and sterilization. It is a year that requires creativity from our staff, diligence from our volunteers, and flexibility from our participants.
I hope that you have had a chance to read through some of the safety considerations our staff has developed in our “Socially Distanced Ride” blog.
We are working with all jurisdictions diligently and, at this point, we are optimistic we will receive approval for our route, and confident that we will be able to hold our event.
- We have developed extensive safety plans.
- We will still need your flexibility as we adapt each location, the route and experience to fit into the latest safety standards (more info to come).
- While things will be different, you will still get a great experience.
- Our impact and fundraising matter more this year than ever before.
As we plan for all scenarios, we need your help. Exact head-counts are critical for our crowd mitigation plans and safety protocols. We realize everyone’s plans have changed over the last 6 months. In response, we are offering more ways to ride and stay engaged with our community. You can do our virtual ride and advocacy challenge, defer your registration and fundraising to 2021, or join us and ride on September 26.
We need to you to confirm if you still plan on riding with us. Select you ride preference below:
