Six Fundraising Tips for Success

Quick Links

    #1: Update Your Personal Page

Historical stats in the entire peer-to-peer world show that those who update their fundraising page raise more money.

  • null

    #2: Tell Your Friends

The story of why you got involved can really make the cause hit home with friends, family and coworkers.  Get the word out: Post on social media, email.

#3: Donate to Your Own Campaign

If your fundraising page shows $0.00 raised, that’s a stigma that causes supporters to give up early. If you donate even $10 to your own campaign, you’ve vested in the cause. It becomes: “I did it, you can too.”

#4: Share One of Our Images

An image is worth 10,000 words. B2B has created sharable images to help you tell your friends and family that you are riding for autism.  Share these on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

#5: Set a Reasonable Goal and Raise It Later.

Unattainable goals can beself-defeating.  Start with $200. When you’re close to hitting it, raise it.

    #6: Update Your Progress

It’s not just mentioning it once in an email or post. Fundraising and preparing for an event is a journey. Regular updates will actively involve those you know in your journey and will encourage donations.

Meet Our All-Stars

They make it easy for individuals and small groups to make a significant impact by providing all the fundraising infrastructure, and more importantly, an amazing weekend.”
