Dave & Henry
Father and Son
The Crossroads School
For the 4th year in a row, David Finnegan is riding 100 miles for his son Henry in the Bike to the Beach New England event. Henry is a 10-year old boy who likes rock climbing, sports, and loves his teachers at Crossroads. He also has a diagnosis of autism and is hearing impaired.
“Henry is doing a great job with his communication skills,” says his dad. “He seems to get better each day with his iPad, and his challenging behaviors have gone way down. “Henry has a huge climb ahead of him, but one thing I know about the staff at Crossroads is that they are all in. They have helped Henry and our family come so far that I want to do anything I can to help them continue this great work. In the grand scheme of things, riding 100 miles is not much to ask for all that they do for us.”
