The Crossroads School
Ethan Rex is a 19 year old student at Crossroads School in Marlborough. He loves Star Wars, listening to music, and his teachers and friends at Crossroads. Ethan also has autism, and receives Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Adapted Physical Education, and is working on his vocational skills.
“For me, designing the jersey is a way to uplift not just the Crossroads community, but also my dad,” says the high-school junior. Her dad is riding for the 7th time this year. “I know how much Crossroads’s support for Ethan and his peers means to my dad. Being able to use my passion to give back to both of them feels like the least I can do—and something I can do for myself, too.”
Ethan’s younger sister Hayley isn’t a biker, but she found her own ways to show support to her brother and the Autism community.Hayley’s design concept centers around the gold Crossroads logo on the front, and the tree that represents the growth of our students and the many ways we serve them. Crossroad’s gold and pink brand colors represent the school’s tagline: “Where expertise and compassion intersect.”
