Eugenio reached out to Family to Family for help gaining services for his 22 year old non-verbal son with autism. As a single dad, he had returned to the Houston area and was having a hard time connecting with the right resources due to his limited English proficiency. He reached out to F2F’s spanish speaking staff who were able to get his son reconnected with Medicaid and help him get connected with the right person at the local IDD authority to get services.
Thank you so much for your help. I have tried calling various agencies. I did not understand the emails they sent me. They just give me more phone numbers or websites to look at. You are the only person who has called me back and helped me. You took the time to listen and help me understand the emails, fill out paperwork and connect me with the right person at the Harris Center. With respite and attendant care, I will be able to work now. God Bless you!
